TP-Link AP Corruption Bug Fixed via Kernel Exploit
A user discovered that their TP-Link EAP770 access point was silently corrupting data during large Wi-Fi downloads due to a DMA cache coherency bug in the Qualcomm driver. Because TP-Link declared the device End-of-Life (EOL) without providing a fix or root access, the user wrote a custom kernel exploit to disable the faulty hardware offload, sacrificing 8% performance for data integrity.
